Jewel Fire Group Fire Blanket is a fire safety equipment designed to smother the flames and extinguish the fire before it gets out of control. This is achieved as the fire blanket forms an air tight seal, smothering the fire and cutting off the supply of oxygen. Ideal for use as a kitchen fire blanket for use on fires involving cooking oils, saucepans, frying pans, waste bins etc. This fire blanket is also suitable for extinguishing fire on a person’s clothing by wrapping the fire blanket around them.
Made from silicone-coated fibreglass with Kevlar anti-fray hem, this fire blanket is simple-to-use and yet extremely effective fire fighting equipment. The fire blanket features a moulded keyhole for added strength when hanging and a hinged lid for easy extraction.
Fire tested and Kitemarked to BS EN: 1869: 1997
Available in size 1200mm x 1200mm K7S cloth held in a PVC pod. This single piece design offers a long lasting service and comes with a 5-year cloth guarantee.
