Sealmaster Cyclone TES is an external door threshold plate providing weather and draught sealing to the door threshold. Suitable for inward and outward opening, single and double, external doors.
Sealmaster Cyclone TES is a symmetrical threshold plate for application on top of carpet or vinyl floor finishes and is suited for virtually all hinged and pivoted doors. All screw fixings are hidden which gives the threshold plate a clean look. Sealmaster Cyclone TES is made of an aluminium plate with a neoprene insert and is available in a gold or silver finish, in three standard lengths of 1000mm, 2100mm and 3000mm. This very versatile door threshold plate is DDA compliant with Part M of the Building Regulations and allows easy access for wheelchairs.
TES door threshold plate can be used alone, but to create an effective weatherproof system, it requires a threshold seal or a weatherboard. Depending on the combination, Sealmaster Cyclone seals can be used for internal or external applications. TES threshold plate paired with a threshold seal can be used for most internal and external doors for outward opening doors, however when used with a weatherboard it is suitable for inward opening external doors only.
This external threshold plate is compatible with the CCS, CBS, CDS, WEF threshold seals or the WFH, WFR, WFW, WEH, WER, WEW, WDS weatherboards to create a weatherproof system. This combined system can be used with virtually all Sealmaster door stop and meeting stile seals to enable a door set to achieve a high level of weatherability, to ensure no rain water flows under the bottom of your door. It is especially effective when used in combiation with the Blizzard seal as it can provide exceptional acoustic performance.
Sealmaster Cyclone seals can be also used for specialist applications where a high level of acoustic and light sealing is required. Suitable for studio and music rooms, photographic dark rooms and rooms with a gas flood fire suppression system installed.
