The Lorient LAS1212K offers acoustic, smoke and weather protection to the door perimeter. If you require a rebated double batwing seal, the medium duty Lorient Batwing on a Stick LAS1212K is a perfect solution due to its kerf fitting profile. The benefit of the kerf fitting profile is that is offers a more durable door perimeter seal and is rebated into a groove size of 3mm x 9mm whilst also using the heavy duty self adhesive tape provided.
The Lorient curved fin batwing acoustic smoke seal minimises the opening and closing resistance of the door leaf due to it’s unique, curved fins. The flexible elastomeric fin material springs back to it’s original shape to provide ongoing performance and durability in service and has been tested to a minimum of 100,000 cycles. Symmetrical design ensures fins are always in contact with the two surfaces of the door leaf, creating an air chamber to provide excellent acoustic properties, with the product being acoustically tested to BS EN ISO 10140-2: 2010 to achieve a rating of Rw 41dB. This Lorient Perimeter Seal has also been smoke tested to meet the requirements of BS 9999: 2017.
