The Sealmaster Double Fin Seal comprises of two elastomeric fins made from co-extruded PVC. This acts as an effective acoustic barrier and seals the door against fire, draught and cold smoke.
Suitable for new or retro-fitting, the seal fits discretely to the head and jambs of the door frame and bypasses ironmongery for continuous sealing.
The Double Fin acoustic perimeter seal is maintenance free and with a low opening and closing resistance, which provides comfortable use of the door. The Double Fin is also durable, as it has been tested for up to 1 million operational cycles.
Sealmaster Double Fin Seal offers optimal acoustic sealing due to its air pocket design and has been acoustically rated for up to 40dB according to BS EN ISO 10140-2. It is also successfully fire and smoke tested to BS EN 1634-1 with cold smoke leakage of less than 3m3/m/hr.
Supplied with self-adhesive tape, Double Fin perimeter seal is quick and easy to install and doesn’t require any additional tools. Available in three colours: black, brown and clear, the Double Fin perimeter door seal is supplied in a standard 2150mm length.
